It has a strategic roadmap to transition the company from a mid-tier manufacturer to a high-capacity, compliant, and sustainable producer of value-added sportswear and outerwear. The project entails the construction of a LEED-certified industrial complex in Salna, Gazipur.
The project is sited on 143.087 decimals of land at 127/A, Tek Kathora, Salna, Gazipur. There are four buildings, including the boiler building. The three main buildings are the production building, the admin building, and the utility building.
The centerpiece is a six-story RCC building with one basement, covering a total construction area of 132,000 sft.
We invest in building boundary walls, internal roads, drainage systems, and water reservoirs (Fire Water, Rain Water, Domestic Water). This significant investment underscores the focus on creating a fully self-contained industrial campus.
A three-storey RCC structure of 9,000 sft housing an Administration, Day Care Center, Medical Corner, and Dining Hall.
A heavy-duty three-storey structure of 6,441 sft specifically reinforced to house vibration-heavy equipment like the 1250 KVA substation, diesel generators, and air compressors.
A separate 674 sft RCC structure to house the steam generation units, ensuring safety isolation from the main workforce.
K.A. Design Sports Wear Ltd. is establishing an “Eco-Technical” manufacturing hub in Salna, Gazipur, targeting LEED Platinum certification to position itself as a sustainable partner for global brands.
The facility integrates environmental stewardship through a 240 kW rooftop solar system covering 10% of energy needs and automated machinery designed to minimize waste and chemical load, including “Dry Finish” sewing technology. Resource efficiency is further supported by rainwater harvesting and CAD/CAM systems that cut fabric wastage by 2–3%.
To ensure a socially responsible and safe workspace, the campus features a 9,000 sft amenity building with medical and daycare facilities and strictly adheres to safety standards like BNBC-2020 and Accord/RSC.
